Job summary

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering with a growing aircraft leasing business to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. The role offers broad exposure across reporting, commercial finance and investment activities within an international firm, with a hybrid model (2 days in the office).

Newly qualified accountants or those with up to 5 years PQE are invited to apply. The position emphasizes development beyond traditional accounting, providing strong progression and a collaborative finance

Qualifications

• Newly qualified accountant or up to 5 years’ PQE
• Big 4/Top 10 trained or industry-trained candidates considered
• Experience in aircraft leasing, aviation, financial services or investment management advantageous
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Ambitious, adaptable and eager to take on broad responsibility

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
• Support with audits and year-end processes
• Involvement in aircraft leasing transactions and investment activities
• Cashflow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Supporting process improvement initiatives across the finance function

We are currently partnering with a growing business in the aircraft leasing industry to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or someone with up to 5 years’ PQE looking to gain broad exposure within a high-performing international business. The role offers strong scope across financial reporting, commercial finance and investment-related activities, making it ideal for someone keen to develop beyond a traditional accounting position.

The company operates a hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office.
