Job summary

Le Meas Executive Search is delighted to partner with a leading Aircraft Leasing firm seeking a qualified accountant for the financial reporting team. This hands-on role covers US GAAP reporting at quarter and year-end, with exposure to senior stakeholders.

You will prepare financial information and analysis, support internal reports and earnings releases, and drive continuous improvement of reporting processes in a collaborative environment in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 1–3 years PQE.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Big 4 / Top 10 training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of US GAAP reporting at quarter and year ends.
• Preparation of financial information and analysis, including summaries of quarterly performance.
• Support internal reports and quarterly earnings press releases.
• Assist accounting policy and transaction support team to develop and implement accounting policies and transaction accounting analysis.

This is a "hands" on financial reporting role with exposure to senior stakeholders in the business.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of US GAAP reporting at quarter and year ends
• Preparation of financial information and analysis, including summaries of quarterly performance
• supporting internal reports and quarterly earnings press releases
• Assist the accounting policy and transaction support team to develop and implement accounting
• policies and to assist with transaction accounting analysis, and other special projects
• Assist with continuous improvement of financial reporting processes
• Supply information to internal and external auditors and work closely with them to ensure
• efficient and timely quarterly review and year-end audit procedures
• Other ad-hoc projects and duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) 1-3 years PQE
• Big 4 / Top 10 trained Auditor - an advantage
• US GAAP / IFRS experience
