Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking an IT Financial Applications Analyst to join the Financial Operations team. You will analyze, develop, modify and maintain financial systems including Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion, and related tools.

The role involves collaboration with business units, project teams, and external providers to ensure reliable financial operations across Ireland. The role offers opportunities for cross-training and progression within the EA and IT Operations groups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries
• Experience in Oracle Financials eBusiness Suite, Oracle Hyperion, Kofax/Markview, Treasury and Tax applications
• Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders
• Strong communication and analytical skills; able to convey complex information clearly

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support IT operational activities for the financial system applications.
• Build and maintain expertise in business processes supported by the applications and work with users to streamline processes.
• Participate in design, architecture, build and testing of new systems for BAU and projects
• Coordinate with external providers and internal IT groups
• Maintain software version management, currency and patching of applications
• Contribute to IT disaster recovery planning and documentation
• Provide incident and problem resolution support for applications
