Job summary

Pale Blue Dot Recruitment is assisting a growing medical device manufacturing company based in Bray to recruit a Financial Controller. The role reports to the Managing Director and leads the finance function within an SME environment, covering financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and product costing.

Responsibilities include month-end close, group submissions, treasury, audits and documentation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with at least five years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, engineering or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance and product costing.
• Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and reporting packs.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit preparation and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and group submissions.
• Manage month-end and year-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital, banking and treasury requirements.
• Coordinate the annual audit and statutory financial statements.
• Maintain financial controls, policies and ERP processes.
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing, capacity planning and profitability.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
