Job summary

Leinster Appointments is seeking a Head of Finance to lead our Group Finance teams in delivering timely and accurate weekly, monthly and annual reporting.

The candidate must be a qualified accountant with substantial post‑qualification experience in financial control, proven leadership, excellent communication, and strong systems knowledge. Responsibilities include leading financial reporting, year‑end processes, and overseeing site support including transfer pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all financial reporting – weekly, monthly and annual.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary to a tight timeline.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements.
• Develop high performing, lean HQ team to deliver support services to site teams (e.g., transfer pricing).
• Oversee banking, insurance and foreign currency exposures.
• Manage year-end processes, audits and financial statements for all entities.

The Person

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with substantial post qualification experience in financial control.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong systems experience and understanding.
• Experience in manufacturing a benefit.
