Job summary

Spectrum.Life in Ireland is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance operations, oversee core processes and drive AI-enabled improvements across the function. You will manage a multi‑entity team, coordinate month‑end close, payroll, reporting and tax compliance while partnering with the business to optimise cost and value.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 4-6+ years post-qualification experience, ideally in industry.
• Experience in multi-entity international organisations (Ireland, UK, Australia).
• Familiarity with IFRS and Irish GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Interest in process automation and AI-enabled finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance operations team.
• Oversee month-end close, reporting and internal controls.
• Manage payroll end-to-end and intercompany accounting.
• Support statutory audits and tax compliance.
• Drive cost and margin analysis and budgeting processes.
• Lead process improvements and AI-enabled transformations in finance.
