A+F Recruitment is seeking a Finance Business Analyst for a growing Irish business in the insurance and financial services sector. The role focuses on translating financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making for ambitious growth plans.

Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will build sophisticated models, analyse customer economics, and work with senior stakeholders. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract offering real commercial impact.

Formación

• 5+ years in commercial finance, FP&A or similar.
• Excellent financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is a plus.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate insights to senior stakeholders.

I am looking to hire a Finance Business Analyst for a growing Irish business operating within the insurance and financial services sector.

This is a commercially focused role, reporting directly to the CFO, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex financial and commercial data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making and the organisation’s ambitious growth plans.

Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract position for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Developing sophisticated financial and commercial models
• Building value chain and lifetime customer value models
• Identifying key growth drivers, opportunities and areas of value leakage
• Analysing customer economics to help inform marketing investment
• Developing forecasts, budgets and business cases
• Working with large datasets to generate meaningful commercial insights
• Supporting strategic projects and the wider value creation plan
• M&A modelling and analysis

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ relevant experience in a commercial finance, business analysis, FP&A or similar analytical role
• Excellent financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector would be a distinct advantage
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to senior financial and non-financial stakeholders
