Job summary

A+F Recruitment is seeking a Finance Business Analyst for a growing Irish business in the insurance and financial services sector. The role focuses on translating financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making for ambitious growth plans.

Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will build sophisticated models, analyse customer economics, and work with senior stakeholders. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract offering real commercial impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial finance, FP&A or similar.
• Excellent financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is a plus.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial and commercial models.
• Build value chain and lifetime customer value models.
• Identify growth drivers and value leakage areas.
• Analyse customer economics to inform marketing investment.
• Develop forecasts, budgets and business cases.
