Responsibilities

  • Manage the Billing Inbox in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Process bills and eBilling uploads to portals
  • Post transactions to the finance system
  • Process EFT payments
  • Create journals for posting using Excel
  • Review expenses in Chrome River
  • Review and post invoices to the accounting system
  • Liaise with solicitors and assistants on billing queries and finance partnering
  • Learn dashboards to understand financial information
  • Respond to vendor queries
  • General office duties as required

Job description

We are currently looking for a Finance Associate to work in our Finance Department. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their Finance experience and work with a dynamic team

The Role
  • Managing the Billing Inbox in prompt and efficient manner
  • Processing bills.
  • eBilling – uploading invoices to eBilling Portals.
  • Posting transactions to the finance system.
  • Processing of electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments.
  • Creating / preparing f journals for posting to the accounting system (using Excel).
  • Reviewing and approving expenses within the Firm's Expense Management System (Chrome River).
  • Reviewing and posting Invoices to the accounting system.
  • Liaising with Solicitors and Assistants in relation to billing queries as well as finance business partnering.
  • Learning how to use the various dashboards in order to understand the financial information
  • Responding to vendor queries.
  • General office duties as required.
The Person
  • You have previous Finance department experience, 6 months - 1 year in a similar role in industry.
  • You are proficient in Excel.
  • You have a strong work ethic and are keen to learn.
  • You can work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are comfortable with working to strict deadlines.
  • A 3rd level qualification is preferable.
