Job summary

William Fry LLP is a premier Irish law firm renowned for its banking practice and client-focused service. We are seeking a senior associate to lead complex banking transactions, with independent responsibility and close collaboration with partners and clients.

You will bring 4+ years of PQE in banking or financial services, with strong drafting skills and commercial acumen. The role offers exposure to high‑value deals across real estate finance, asset finance, leasing and secured lending.

Qualifications

• You have 4+ years' PQE in Banking or financial services.
• Experience with real estate finance, asset finance, leasing or secured lending is desirable.
• Strong drafting and technical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead banking transactions and structuring with input from the team.
• Draft and review finance documents, security packs, and perfection steps.
• Advise clients and coordinate with internal stakeholders to close transactions.

We are currently seeking to recruit a senior associate for our Banking department. Our Banking department is acknowledged as a leader in the Irish market. We advise on a broad range of transactional finance and leasing work across a variety of industry sectors, including real estate and leisure, aviation and asset finance and general secured lending. This role will suit someone with transactional experience in one or more of real estate finance; aviation and asset finance and leasing; and general secured lending work, and who is comfortable running transactions independently, with input and support from other team members as required.

The Person

• You are an experienced solicitor with at lest 4 years of PQE.
• You have relevant post-qualification experience with a medium or large firm.
• You have an excellent academic background.
• You possess excellent technical and drafting skills coupled with a good eye for detail.
• You have a track record of excellence in client service.
• You have a high level of commercial awareness.
• You are a strong communicator.
• You are deadline driven and can manage competing tasks.
• You have a strong work ethic, a flexible approach to work and the willingness and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment.
