Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in financial or management accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle financial data.
• Accurate, organised with ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent communication with finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Interested in a role mixing accounting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Review revenue, costs and key financial performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with non-finance colleagues to explain results.
• Assist with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and strong controls.
• Identify ways to improve reporting and finance processes.
• The role does not involve managing a team.
