Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair glass-lined and process equipment for customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. The role is hands-on and customer-facing with regular travel across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

You will work independently in the field, perform inspections, installations, tests, fault finding, and provide after-sales support, while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer.
• Experience with mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, or drive systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full driver's licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer training when required

Requirements
