Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is assisting a services management company to hire a Service Support Technician. This field-based role covers Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath, with full Irish driving license required.

You will carry out site visits, perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair faults, and ensure parts and tools are stocked for efficient field service. 45-hour week, full-time.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a field-service, maintenance, engineering or technical support role.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical equipment advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of site visits.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel regularly across Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
• Irish driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits across Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and operational faults.
• Repair equipment and replace parts where required.
• Maintain appropriate stock of tools, parts and consumables.
• Respond to service and maintenance requirements.
