Job summary

WH Scott Group in Ireland is expanding its field service team and invites applications for Field Service Technicians based in Kilkenny or Tipperary. You will work closely with Service Inspectors, supporting surveys, inspections, maintenance and repairs across utilities, marine, power, construction, and manufacturing sectors.

The role offers progression, training, and a collaborative environment, with emphasis on safety, data input, and delivering high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Exposure to cranes or material handling equipment is advantageous.
• Utilities experience is desirable but not essential.
• EUSR Water Hygiene, CSCS, and Manual Handling certifications are advantageous (training provided).
• Full, clean driving licence and own transport preferred.
• Good computer literacy and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Inspectors with surveys, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Support the preparation, production, and distribution of inspection reports in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure high customer service standards are consistently met.
• Accurately input and maintain data using operational systems.

Requirements

• Previous exposure to commercial cranes, lifting devices, or material handling equipment (advantageous, but not essential).
• Experience In Utilities Preferred, But Not Essential.
• EUSR Water Hygiene Card, CSCS card, and Manual Handling certification are advantageous (training provided if not held).
• Full, clean driving licence and own transport preferred.
• Good computer literacy, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
