Job summary
Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group represents a global semiconductor equipment client in Kildare seeking a Field Service Engineer. You will perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to maximise equipment uptime and performance.
You will install and service complex systems, work closely with customers, and provide technical guidance while maintaining detailed service records. Travel readiness and a flexible approach to shifts are essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in field service, equipment maintenance or technical troubleshooting in semiconductor/high-tech environments.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities on complex equipment.
- Excellent communication and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair complex equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Respond to customer service requests and provide technical support.
- Support equipment installation, performance and reliability.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain service reports and records.
- Liaise with internal engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain company tools, parts and equipment.
