Job summary

Cpl Group is hiring an Equipment Engineer in Kildare to support on-site installation, qualification, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. The role includes travel to global training sites and initial several weeks abroad, with later work in Ireland on a 4-cycle shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification (ideally Level 6) or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on exposure in mechanical, electrical, electronic domains.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Basic pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and proper usage incl. digital multimeters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Full driving license.
• Willingness to work 24/7 shift rota.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, qualification, preventive and corrective maintenance and repair of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Gain experience in a dynamic and diverse environment.
• Interface with Irish-based customers to ensure successful outcomes from equipment installations.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Use digital analytics for troubleshooting.

Do you like to troubleshoot, solve complex electro-mechanical problems and enjoy hands on tasks and projects?Our client are the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.

If you're successful, you will work as a Field Service Engineer and provide service and maintenance support to customers of clients key equipment, this is an onsite based role.Once you a fully trained - you will be working a 4 cycle shift.

There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland

Shift role:

Who we are looking for:

• A Technical qualification (ideally Level 6) or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
• Someone who has practical hands-on work exposure (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) through previous experience or project work;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
• Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics

Travel:

There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland.
