Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a Field Calibration Engineer in Ireland to calibrate, certify and maintain Chromatography and Mass Spec instrumentation across laboratory and regulated environments.

You will test temperature-controlled equipment, diagnose faults, and complete service documentation while working within ISO-quality systems. A full driving licence and a proactive problem-solving approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Chromatography or Mass Spec instrumentation.
• Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in calibration, service or instrumentation role.
• Experience with ISO quality systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out calibration, certification and preventive maintenance of Chromatography / Mass Spec instrumentation.
• Testing and calibrating temperature-controlled equipment, temperature probes and weighing systems.
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.

Your responsibilities will include:

What we're looking for:

• Experience across Chromatography / Mass Spec
• Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a calibration, service, maintenance, or instrumentation role.
• Experience working within quality systems such as ISO standards.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
