Job summary

Failte Solar, based in Dublin, is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to expand our installer network across Ireland. This field-first role involves frequent travel to meet solar installers, build relationships, and win new business, rather than desk work.

You will identify and onboard new accounts, visit customers onsite, provide product knowledge, pricing support, and contribute to revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Field-based B2B sales experience preferred in renewables or distribution.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and the UK.
• Strong relationship-building and face-to-face selling skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage own diary and travel schedule.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, approach, and onboard new solar installer accounts across your territory.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to installers across Ireland and the UK; travel-heavy role.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with installer partners through face-to-face contact.
• Represent Failte Solar at installer sites, trade events and industry meetups.
• Manage visit schedules/route plans to maximise face-to-face coverage and revenue.
