Job summary

Safety Solutions Group in Dublin seeks a Health and Safety Inspector to provide daily HSQE inspections for lead clients across Dublin and surrounding areas. You will audit Contractor HSQE performance on client project sites and report findings to the client and contractor while maintaining compliance with safety standards.

The role suits a practical, hands-on professional with NEBOSH or equivalent, site inspection experience, and a full driving license.

Qualifications

• Relevant Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH.
• Post-qualification HSQE experience in water services, utilities, or construction.
• Experience in conducting site inspections and audits.
• Construction site or supervisory experience beneficial.
• Strong IT experience with MS Office products for reports and data analysis.
• Full driving license is essential.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

• Contact monthly inspection listings to obtain site details.
• Schedule inspections upon confirmation of works.
• Use Client mobile device and app to conduct inspections.
• Be familiar with Client Contractor pre-requisites for construction sites and risk controls.
• Attend Contractor on-site inductions as required and comply with safety requirements.
• Score inspections using Client guidance.
• Inform by telephone of any serious issues on site.
• Convey findings to Contractor and Client contact prior to leaving site.
• Monitor reports for consistency of marking.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards.
