Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing in Dungarvan is seeking an Associate Scientist to join our Microbiology Team. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical samples to ensure compliance with predefined standards.

You will perform routine analyses, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to GMP guidelines. Weekend duties and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• GMP experience (6 months to 1 year) is required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Good knowledge of HPLC and wet chemistry testing.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Understanding GMP principles and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical samples.
• Perform routine and non-routine analyses with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time following SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvements; contribute to CI projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines; ensure activities are documented and traceable.
• Provide training to colleagues as competency is proven and cover for others when needed.
