Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for Grangegorman, Dublin. You will lead the on-site hard and soft FM teams, oversee maintenance programmes, and ensure service delivery stays compliant with contractual requirements.

The role is hands-on and client-facing, with responsibilities spanning contractor management, safety, budgeting and reporting. Excellent leadership and FM knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• FM management or coordination experience.
• Experience managing both hard and soft FM services.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience in a client-facing role.
• Good understanding of FM technical services.
• Experience working with contracts and commercial requirements.
• Strong financial and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of hard and soft FM services.
• Lead, support and develop the on-site service delivery team.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and lifecycle programmes.
• Coordinate reactive works and ensure client requirements are delivered effectively.
• Scope and verify minor works.
• Manage the SSOW permitting system and promote safe working practices.
• Lead Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks and Near Miss reporting.
• Manage contractor engagement and site inductions.
• Act as the key operational point of contact for on-site issues.
• Manage materials ordering and maintain accurate contract and project records.
• Deliver allocated projects on time, within budget and to specification.
• Monitor remedial works, budgets and expenditure.
• Support continuous improvement, innovation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with clients, visitors, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and monitor operational deadlines and performance.
