Job summary

UPS is seeking a Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Specialist in Ireland to protect assets, oversee facility safety, and manage small projects. You will coordinate with contractors, prepare cost estimates, and support design options for internal stakeholders.

The role covers environmental compliance, maintenance oversight, and ensuring UPS safety standards across the facility. Strong planning and vendor management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or international equivalent.
• Programming experience including troubleshooting, networks, motor control theory, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supports conveyor system maintenance and repairs.
• Oversees facility maintenance, housekeeping, and safety.
• Manages outsourcing of external vendors for repairs and projects.
• Assists with small PE projects including scope, estimates, and documentation.
• Ensures environmental compliance and safety training within the department.
