Job summary

The Anglers Rest, part of The Wright Group, is seeking experienced waitstaff to join our team in Ireland. You will provide warm, friendly and courteous service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant and bar.

With 2 years of experience and a good command of English, you will multitask in a fast-paced environment, handle cash, and present food and beverages to high standards. Flexibility with hours, including late nights, is essential.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• To provide excellent, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• To ensure that guests are acknowledged and warmly welcomed to the restaurant and bar.
• To maintain a high level of knowledge on product offerings; including menu's, wine's, hot and cold beverages, and desserts.
• To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the managers high standards of presentation.
• To ensure that the food restaurant, bar and all food & beverage areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
• To participate in all training.
• To maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude with both guests and your colleagues.
• To carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to provide a consistently high standard of customer service
• The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• 2years' experience
• Flexibility with regards to hours, as late nights are involved
• A good command of the English Language
• Impeccable self-presentation
