Job summary

Horizons Cork in Cork is seeking an experienced Executive Business Manager (Grade VII) to support the Chief Executive in delivering strategic and operational priorities. You will work with the Board Liaison Officer, provide high‑level administrative and managerial support, and lead key initiatives across the organisation, while ensuring governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 Degree in a qualification relevant to the effective discharge of the duties of the post, for example Business, Legal, Healthcare, Social Science, Finance, HR, Project Management.
• Qualification in Project Management and / or Lean Management or willingness to undertake within 12 months of post commencem ent.
• Level 9 QQI in Business Administration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Executive in delivering on strategic and operational priorities.
• Lead out key initiatives and foster relationships across the organisation and wider sector.
• Work alongside the Board Liaison Officer to ensure effective operation of the CEO’s Office.
• Provide administrative and managerial responsibilities to ensure CEO receives required support.
• Drive improvements in systems or service delivery while operating in a changing environment.
• Deliver successful projects and governance with cross-functional stakeholders.
