Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Executive Head Chef to lead our hotel kitchen and drive culinary excellence. You will own the kitchen operations, guide a talented team, manage purchasing, and partner with F&B, Events, Sales and Operations to deliver outstanding service.

You will uphold HACCP, health and safety standards, control costs, contribute to conference and events growth, and shape kitchen culture while driving development within your team.

Qualifications

• Head chef experience in hotels or similar.
• Strong focus on quality and consistency.
• People leadership and development experience.
• Proficiency in English and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations for the hotel.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee kitchen operations for the hotel.
• Guided and developed our talented and motivated culinary team.
• Manage the purchasing and delivery of food supplies.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage, Events, Sales and Operations teams to ensure effective communication and seamless service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, HACCP, health and safety and hygiene standards and hotel policies.
• Contribute significantly to the success of our conference and events services.
• Oversee the kitchen budget to meet established targets.

What You Will Need:

• Experience as a head chef in hotels or similar.
• Unrelenting focus on quality.
• Qualification in culinary arts or similar is desired.
• People leadership and development experience.
• A personal desire to be developed and to learn in your role.
• Proficiency in English and a strong communicator; comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
• Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
