Job summary

Synergy-Security is seeking a Corporate Security Officer for a Dublin 2 corporate site. The role focuses on front-of-house reception, access control and visitor management within a modern office environment.

You will balance exceptional client-facing service with strict access enforcement, and work with RSOC to escalate incidents. The position is permanent, day-shift based, with a competitive hourly rate and progression after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSA license (Door Supervisor or Static Guard).
• First Aid Responder certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with digital Visitor Management Systems (VMS) such as Envoy or SwipedOn.
• Experience operating physical access control entry systems and barrier turnstiles.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, executive-level customer service experience to employees, clients, contractors and visitors.
• Manage visitor registration, verify identities, issue temporary passes and enforce NDA protocols.
• Maintain visibility over reception and entryways to prevent tailgating and unauthorized entry.
• Monitor local access points, speed gates and turnstiles; conduct safety inspections and patrols.
• Report faults in access control hardware and escalate via standard channels.
• Coordinate with RSOC as the on-site partner for incident escalation.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuations or incidents.
• Complete incident reports for management and client review.
• Maintain professional conduct and align with site management.
