Job summary

AXA Group in Ireland seeks an accomplished Head of Finance Strategy to partner with the CFO, CEO and Executive Committee, translating enterprise strategy into robust financial planning and investment decisions.

You will shape governance, lead strategic initiatives, evaluate business cases and ensure disciplined investment, risk management and customer outcomes while building a high-performing, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in finance/strategy within a complex, regulated organisation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance/financial services regulatory context and governance.
• Proven credibility advising C-suite and boards, influencing at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted adviser to CFO and executive committee on strategic choices with financially grounded insights.
• Produce concise reporting and strategic papers for the Board and Executive Committee.
• Lead strategic initiatives and projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Own financial evaluation of strategic initiatives, including business cases and cost–benefit analysis.
• Oversee delivery, costs, benefits and performance across the strategic portfolio and flag issues.
