BaxterStorey Ireland is seeking an Events Porter to join our Events team in Cork. This role involves delivering food and equipment to events, assisting with setup and breakdown, and supporting the Front of House operation to ensure smooth service.

Work across multiple locations, contribute to both Back of House and Front of House activities, and be a reliable, team-oriented contributor to our hospitality teams. Previous hospitality experience is welcome as you build your career with us.

Job description

BaxterStorey Ireland are looking for anEvents Porter to join the Events team.

Our Events Porter will spend much of their time delivering food and equipment to events. When at events, they are required to help set up, break down and be involved as a general porter for the Front of House team. They are vital to the smooth delivery of all aspects of our Front of House Operation.

We create fabulous events whatever or wherever the space. We’ve shown time and again that we know our clients inside out, providing outstanding hospitality in complex and historically or culturally sensitive spaces.

Job Description

This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in hospitality and catering logistics as this role has the potential to develop into other roles in our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physical manual handling of equipment within the event spaces.
  • Assisting with events both Back of House and Front of House where needed.
  • Assisting the internal operationsteam.
  • Working across multiple locations.
