Job summary

BaxterStorey in Dublin is seeking a Kitchen Porter to help run a well‑organised, clean kitchen and support our culinary team in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

You will wash dishes, keep surfaces sanitised, assist with basic food preparation, manage stock in/out and help maintain health and safety standards. We offer training, career growth and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or with industrial dishwashers
  • Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces and food preparation areas; empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients
  • Assist in receiving, storing and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order
  • Goods in and out

Job Description
  • Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
