Job summary

ST. AIDAN'S SERVICES in Gorey Town is seeking a Community Support Facilitator for Bespoke Evening Services.

The role focuses on empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities and ASD to participate in social, recreational, and vocational activities within their community. You will provide personalised support to promote independence, implement behaviour support strategies, and work with the Social Care Leader to develop individualised plans.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support or Social Care is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with an intellectual disability/ ASD.
• Must hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate community engagement by supporting participation in social, recreational and vocational activities.
• Provide personalised support to enhance independence and well-being, including daily living activities and goal attainment.
• Empower individuals to advocate for themselves and promote self-determination.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the Social Care Leader to develop individualised support plans.
