Job summary
Autism A Chara (previously Autism Initiatives Ireland CLG) is seeking a Facilitator on a Specific Purpose Contract for 39 hours per week in Ireland. The role requires a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification, understanding of person-centred support, and the ability to plan with clients.
Evening and weekend work may be required, with a focus on safety and compassionate care. The facilitator will work closely with individuals to learn what matters to them, adapt communication, and support daily
Qualifications
- Must hold a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification.
- Understand person-centred support for those with complex needs.
- Experience with planning and delivering centred care programs.
Responsibilities
- Learn individual needs and preferences and adapt support accordingly.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with service users.
- Provide daily living assistance including personal care.
- Support engagement with community activities.
- Assist with developing new skills and daily routines.
- Help users understand rights and make informed choices.
