Job summary

Mercury is the European leader in construction solutions and is seeking a Business Unit Lead based in Ireland to manage multiple COMMS projects across Ireland and Europe. The role requires 5-10 years of project management experience in COMMS, a third-level Engineering/Construction degree, and willingness to travel across the EU.

You will lead teams, oversee procurement, QA/EHS, client engagements, and project reporting to ensure delivery against scope and KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience managing multiple COMMS projects at a similar level.
• Third level qualification in an Engineering/ Construction/ Commercial biased subject.
• Must be able to travel across multiple EU countries for this role.
• Contracts management experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple COMMS projects across Ireland and Europe.
• Plan procurement and ensure engineering is developed to meet deadlines.
• Lead weekly meetings and audits with project teams.
• Attend client meetings and promote a QEHS approach.
• Oversee project reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team.
