Barden is partnering with a global technology company in Cork to hire a Europe Payroll Manager. The role leads payroll across Europe, manages a Cork team, and oversees external providers. It is a hybrid role with two days on site.

We seek a candidate with extensive European payroll experience, a track record with outsourced providers, and a passion for automation and AI-enabled improvements. You will influence how payroll runs globally.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll across multiple European countries.
• Proven track record with outsourced payroll providers.
• Experience leading and developing a payroll team.
• Experience with automation or payroll system changes.
• Good understanding of payroll controls and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate, compliant payroll across Europe through external providers.
• Manage and develop a small, experienced payroll team in Cork.
• Consolidate payroll providers globally and manage performance, SLAs and fees.
• Own payroll controls and audit readiness, including SOX compliance.
• Lead automation and process improvement, with support to adopt AI tools.
