Job summary

OnCommerce is seeking a Risk Manager based in Europe to own risk and payments decisioning across the EU region. You will translate group risk policies into local, actionable controls that protect customers and revenue while maintaining marketplace integrity.

You will implement governance for fraud prevention, monitor KPIs, and lead escalation on high-risk cases—partnering with Customer Response and Seller Success teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Policy Implementation & Governance: Localise group-level fraud and risk policies into clear, actionable procedures for European operations, aligning with regulatory obligations.
• Fraud & Risk Operations: Provide insight to the Head of Risk on EU monitors; manage cases involving payments fraud and risk; final decision authority for seller risk in Europe.
• Seller Onboarding & Marketplace Integrity: Own the seller activation risk framework and due-diligence triggers for European onboarding.
• Disputes, Chargebacks & Scheme Compliance: Lead scheme compliance matters and monitor disputes and chargebacks across Europe.
• Payments & Acquirer Relationship Ownership: Manage relationships with PSPs (including Adyen) for Europe; sign off on risk settings and onboarding.
• Risk Assessment & Reporting: Monitor KPIs and loss trends; report to Head of Risk and identify emerging risks across regions.
