Job summary

Lincoln Recruitment Specialists is seeking a COO for its EU entity, with direct accountability across transactions, outsourcing, and governance. The role demands data-driven leadership and deep regulatory understanding in a fast-growing fintech environment.

The position is hybrid with 1 day per week in the office, and requires extensive experience in payments, governance, and AML/CFT controls to align with CBI expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments/fintech with executive accountability.
• Hands-on operational management including payments processing and ICT vendor oversight.
• Familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland rules, PSR requirements and DORA.

Responsibilities

• Own operations performance for the entity including transaction processing and service delivery.
• Lead operational resilience in line with DORA, covering ICT governance and incident management.
• Drive a data-led operating model using AI-assisted analysis to surface control weaknesses and improvements.
• Govern all vendor and outsourcing arrangements, maintaining a critical provider register.
• Partner with the MLRO on AML/CFT controls to ensure effective detection and reporting.
• Support Head of Risk, Head of Compliance, and MLRO to meet regulatory obligations.
• Shape a culture of accountability and customer focus aligned with CBI conduct expectations.
