Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking support engineers for the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) under the AWS Managed Operations team. You will help deliver high-availability AWS services for EU customers, including EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock, while collaborating with global teams and improving day-to-day operations.

The role focuses on maintaining and improving ESC performance, reliability, and efficiency, with opportunities to influence service evolution and participate in on-call

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux OS and networking troubleshooting.
• Hands-on systems engineering and administrative work in networking, storage, and OS.
• EU national and able to operate in EU for AWS ESC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the service level of the ESC.
• Collaborate with global AWS teams to evolve AWS services.
• Enhance availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of ESC.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
