Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited seeks experienced systems engineers to lead operations of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). You will collaborate with global AWS teams to operate high-availability services (EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock) for EU customers, driving reliability, latency and efficiency improvements.

You will participate in on-call rotations and relocation may be provided within the EU.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting.
• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language.
• EU national and residing in the EU to operate within EU AWS ESC.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve one of the largest software systems.
• Review operational health and write actionable bug reports.
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents.
