This is a hands‑on role for that requires a detail‑oriented professional who can analyse complex data flows, investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced Agile environment and possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Own QA activities for assigned work from requirement review through to release readiness.
- Review user stories and requirements to understand business context, risks, dependencies and downstream impacts.
- Design and execute clear test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, data and edge‑case testing.
- Ask questions, validate assumptions and raise risks early when requirements, test coverage, environments or timelines are unclear.
- Clearly communicate test progress, defects, blockers, release confidence and any remaining quality risks.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies, including refinement, sprint planning, stand‑ups, defect triage and release discussions.
- Support colleagues through knowledge sharing, constructive feedback and a strong team‑first approach.
- Perform end‑to‑end ETL and data testing activities.
- Validate source‑to‑target mappings, transformation rules, and business requirements.
- Execute data migration, data reconciliation, and data validation testing.
- Verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems.
- Perform backend database testing and large‑scale data analysis.
- Analyse files including CSV, TXT, XML, and JSON for data validation purposes.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend validation and reconciliation.
- Monitor and validate batch‑processing activities and scheduled jobs.
- Analyse job failures and perform detailed root cause investigations.
- Review and understand Python‑based scripts used in data‑processing workflows.
- Work in Linux/Unix environments to analyse logs and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute automated tests using existing Java and Python‑based frameworks.
