Job summary

Waystone, a leading asset-servicing solutions provider, seeks an ETF Capital Markets professional to own relationships with authorised participants and drive liquidity for a growing suite of ETFs.

You will manage onboarding, settlement streams, and the launch of new ETFs from product build to first-day trading, ensuring robust market-making and pricing dynamics across European venues.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years in ETF capital markets, ETF trading, ETF market making, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day dealing relationships with authorised participants across the ETF range and resolve settlement issues.
• Onboard new APs, manage AP agreements with Legal, and maintain settlement arrangements across ICSD including preparation for T+1 move.
• Support the launch of new ETFs from multiple issuers, owning the capital markets workstream from product build to listing and first-day trading readiness.
• Design trading aspects with issuers, advising on basket construction, listing venues, currency lines and liquidity.
• Review portfolio construction files and baskets with partner managers and apply spreads/fees at fund level.
• Monitor spreads, depth, and on/off-exchange volume across the range and intervene when liquidity deteriorates.
• Manage market maker coverage and build relationships across European market making communities.
• Act as capital markets contact for partner managers and deliver trading education to partners and internal teams.
• Produce pre-trade liquidity and cost analysis for institutional clients and platforms; support large trades end-to-end.
• Develop analytics and reporting for spread, iNAV, primary market activity and AP performance.
• Contribute capital markets input to pitches and RFPs; maintain intelligence on European ETP trading practices.
