Job summary

SSA Group is seeking experienced Estimators for roles across Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. You will work with reputable contractors on commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial and civil projects, preparing competitive tender submissions and reviewing drawings and specifications.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and strong commercial awareness, with a preference for candidates from main or specialist contracting backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Previous Estimating experience within construction.
• Main Contractor or Specialist Contractor background preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Sourcing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Conducting cost analysis for labour, materials, and equipment.
• Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Liaising with commercial and project teams throughout the tender process.

SSA is currently recruiting Estimators on behalf of a number of well-established Contractors across Galway, Dublin, Cork, and Limerick.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
