Job summary

TechHeads is seeking a commercially-minded SAP Solution Architect to join a newly established SAP Centre of Excellence and play a key role across a major S/4HANA transformation programme. This business-facing role works with stakeholders, technology teams and external partners, with potential to develop SAP expertise while supported by experienced teams and partners.

You will join a growing SAP function, contribute to solution design and roadmaps, and help shape architecture within a large-scale

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar.

Job description

A major organisation undergoing significant transformation is seeking a SAP Solution Architect to join a newly established SAP Centre of Excellence and play a key role across a major S/4HANA transformation programme.

This is a business-facing architecture role, working across business stakeholders, technology teams and external delivery partners. Deep SAP expertise is not essential, the team can support your development on the SAP layer. Strong solution architecture fundamentals, stakeholder management and problem-solving capability are the key requirements.

You will have an opportunity to join a new SAP Centre of Excellence and play a key role in a major S/4HANA transformation programme, influencing solution design and technology roadmaps while developing your SAP expertise with support from experienced teams and partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Solution Architect who enjoys solving business problems through technology and wants to help shape a growing SAP function.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable solution architectures.
• Lead workshops and shape practical technology solutions.
• Develop solution designs and architectural documentation.

• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, technology teams and delivery partners.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Application Architect or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Broad understanding of enterprise applications, integrations and technology ecosystems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working across complex technology environments and with delivery partners
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or similar.
• Experience within large-scale transformation or modernisation programmes.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous but is not essential.
