Job summary

SystemsAccountants are currently supporting our client running a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. They’re looking for an ERP Project Manager to support the Programme Lead in driving delivery across planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and go-live readiness.

Role responsibilities include leading cross-functional workshops, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring successful cutover and go-live readiness in a West Ireland on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years delivering ERP or IT transformation projects.
• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations preferred.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional, global programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of ERP workstreams with plans, timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate across IT, business functions and external SI partner.
• Own governance: status reporting, RAID logs, steering committee packs and executive updates.
• Track budget, schedule performance, resource utilisation and KPIs.
• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA design, build, testing, deployment and hypercare activities.
• Manage cutover planning, data migration coordination and go-live readiness.
• Build relationships with business leaders, SMEs and process owners; run cross-functional workshops.
• Lead risk, issue and change management through governance.
• Support organisational readiness and adoption with Change Management and Training.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of assigned workstreams, including plans, timelines, milestones and dependencies
• Coordinate across internal business functions, IT teams and the external SI implementation partner
• Own project governance: status reporting, RAID logs, steering committee packs and executive updates
• Track budget, schedule performance, resource utilisation and delivery KPIs
• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA design, build, testing, deployment and hypercare activities
• Manage cutover planning, data migration coordination and go-live readiness
• Build relationships with business leaders, SMEs and process owners; run cross-functional workshops
• Lead risk, issue and change management processes through formal governance
• Support organisational readiness and adoption alongside Change Management and Training

Role Requirements

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management or related field
• 5–8 years managing ERP, IT or business transformation projects
• Proven delivery of large-scale ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or MS Dynamics 365)
• Experience on cross-functional, global transformation programmes
• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience strongly preferred
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving transformation environment
