Job summary

Mako is seeking an Equity Analyst to join our equity trading team in Dublin. You will work closely with senior traders and analysts to identify risks and opportunities in equities markets that support sustainable short and long-term success.

You will conduct deep-dive sector research, build investment theses, and develop models and datasets to inform actionable equity views. A degree and front-office experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Front office or markets-adjacent experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive research across sectors and equities to develop proprietary insights.
• Build investment theses with industry mapping and competitive dynamics.
• Identify catalysts and risk factors affecting covered names.
• Develop and maintain financial models, valuations, and datasets.
• Track macro and regulatory trends and translate into equity viewpoints.
• Improve research processes to generate scalable edge.
