METLEN is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join the Power Technologies team at the North Wall Power Plant in Dublin, Ireland. You will ensure environmental compliance and support sustainable operations, working with Operations, Maintenance, HSE and regulators.

You will coordinate monitoring, reporting and EMS activities, investigate incidents, and drive improvements in emissions, waste and energy efficiency across the facility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits, and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor emissions, discharges, waste, noise, and resource use at the plant.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring programs and analyse performance data.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance assessments across the plant.
• Investigate environmental incidents, non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide environmental guidance to Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Maintain and improve the site's EMS (ISO 14001) compliance.
• Liaise with regulators, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Support initiatives on emissions reduction, waste minimisation, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
