Job summary

Intel Corporation in Ireland’s Leixlip site seeks an experienced Environmental Specialist to lead site environmental programmes and ensure regulatory compliance. You will manage waste, wastewater, air emissions, and groundwater activities within the Industrial Emissions Licence framework and ISO14001 standards.

You will collaborate with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering, analyze EHS data, and help drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification (NFQ level 8) in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering or NFQ level 8 in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 8+ years relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the site's Industrial Emissions Licence and ISO14001 standard, including review of compliance results/trends and incident investigation.
• Support Environmental Engineers to become primary owners for environmental media programmes and assist with other programmes as secondary owner.
• Analyze EHS data, identify trends, and help define focus areas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering.
