Job summary

Occupli is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing operation on an initial 6–12 month contract. This role offers ownership of a broad site-based environmental remit within a highly regulated setting.

You will work with site management to ensure continued compliance with Irish environmental legislation, the IE Licence, trade effluent, waste management and environmental monitoring obligations, with a focus on practical improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years' relevant environmental experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with IE Licence requirements and waste management obligations.
• Liaison with EPA or other regulatory authorities and knowledge of Irish environmental legislation.
• Experience in monitoring and reporting environmental data and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance activities and ensure licence conditions are met.
• Coordinate environmental sampling, monitoring and reporting.
• Liaise with EPA, local authorities and other regulators as needed.
• Oversee waste management, disposal, and recycling activities.
• Develop and maintain environmental policies, registers and training.
