Job summary

Occupli is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist for a 14-month contract in South-East Ireland. You will support and develop the site's Environmental, Health & Safety programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with operations and technical teams.

You will conduct audits, risk assessments and reviews, providing practical guidance across manufacturing activities and promoting a strong safety-first and environmental culture within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' EHS experience in manufacturing or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced EHS Specialist to join the site EHS team of a leading global organisation operating within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role supporting the continued development of the site’s Environmental, Health & Safety programmes, ensuring high standards of regulatory compliance while working closely with operational and technical teams.

The Role

You will play an important role in:

• Supporting and continuously improving site EHS programmes and systems.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant Irish legislation, environmental requirements and regulatory standards.
  
• Conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments and compliance reviews.

Requirements

We're looking for an experienced EHS professional with:

• 5+ years' EHS experience within manufacturing or another highly regulated environment.
  
• Strong knowledge across a broad range of EHS disciplines.
  
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  
• A proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  
• Experience supporting projects, operational change and continuous improvement.
  
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  

Pharmaceutical / Biologics experience would be advantageous, although candidates from other highly regulated manufacturing environments will also be considered.
