Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead environmental compliance for infrastructure projects in Ireland. You will ensure adherence to environmental legislation, planning conditions, licenses, and contractual obligations, while guiding contractors and supply chains on sustainable delivery.

You will oversee monitoring, audits, risk assessments, and reporting, driving continuous improvement and ISO 14001 implementation across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Experience managing environmental compliance in construction/infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and European environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance programmes across construction and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure regulatory permits, licenses, and planning conditions are met.
• Provide expert environmental advice to project teams and senior management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement them across projects.
• Maintain environmental records and oversee contractor compliance.
• Prepare environmental performance reports and dashboards.
• Liaise with authorities and communities on environmental matters.
