Job summary

BearingPoint Ireland seeks a Senior Software Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex software programmes across multiple workstreams. You will mentor Delivery Managers and engineers, manage client relationships at Director and C-suite level, and drive delivery excellence in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software delivery with 5+ years in senior leadership or programme management.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale enterprise software to major clients.
• Strong command of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams of 20+ people.
• Excellent stakeholder management at C-suite/board level.
• Commercial acumen with sizing, estimation, resource planning and contract input.
• Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices and cloud platforms.
• Degree in a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of large, complex software programmes.
• Lead and mentor Delivery Managers, Software Architects, and engineers across multiple workstreams.
• Escalation point for technical delivery challenges with senior stakeholders.
• Champion Agile and Scaled Agile practices to improve velocity and team effectiveness.
• Contribute to business development through bid management and client presentations.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Solution Design to ensure feasibility and alignment.
• Develop talent through coaching, performance management and career planning.
• Represent BearingPoint’s Software Development capability externally.
