Job summary

Forward Role is partnering with an Irish client in the TravelTech sector to hire a hands-on Technical Lead in County Dublin. The role is hybrid (2-3 days in the office) and runs for an initial 9 months with potential extension.

You will lead small to mid-sized engineering teams, champion code reviews, training, and project ownership while leveraging AWS, NoSQL (MongoDB), software architecture, and DevOps practices to deliver cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient with AWS for cloud services.
• NoSQL experience (ideally MongoDB).
• Experience leading small to mid sized teams, with emphasis on training and development, code reviews, and project ownership.
• Excellent understanding of software architecture, DevOps, and cloud services.

We are partnered with a long-standing client that are leaders in the global TravelTech domain. An established Irish company, with a mature engineering team - currently looking for a hands on technical lead to join the business.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proficient with AWS for cloud services
• NoSQL experience (ideally MongoDB)
• Experience having lead small to medium size teams, with emphasis on training and development, code reviews, and project ownership
• Excellent understanding of software architecture, DevOps, and cloud services
• TravelTech experience is a bonus

This role will run for an initial fixed term of 9 months, with the possibility of longer term employment or extension of services.
